PETER CAMERON

I have yet to document any of this information with original sources. This information has all been handed down to me, shared with me, or found in documents that do not state their source and were not vital or original sources themselves.

Peter Cameron was born about 1779 in Ireland to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Cameron of Scotland. He was their 2nd child of 3 boys (Stephen, Peter & John).

Peter married Mary Hart in July 1803 in Queensbury, York, New Brunswick, Canada.

Mary Hart was aborn about 1784 in the United States. Her mother was Katie Gump.

Peter and Mary had 14 children. All of the children were born in New Brunswick, Canada. I believe, the first 7 children (not counting Mary) were born in St. John and the last 6 were born in Queensbury. I am very unsure of when Mary was born and where in New Brunswick she was born.
1804 Katie,
1805 Stephen (married Charlotte Sloot on 17 April 1828),
1806 or 1823 Mary (married Edward Hall on 20 June 1833),
1806 George,
24 August 1808 William (my 4th Great Grandfather),
8 June 1810 James Henry (1830 married Margaret Hall),
9 March 1812 Peter (2 July 1835 married Elizabeth Lint),
1814 John (27 June 1844 married Sarah Ann Day),
1817 George (married Hannah Day in about 1840),
26 May 1818 Eliza,
15 July 1819 Ann (married John Day in 1839),
19 July 1820 Jane,
1821 Fannie, and
1825 Daniel.

Peter Cameron died in Queensbury, York, New Brunswick, Canada around 1857-1861. Mary died in the fall of 1871 in Queensbury, York, New Brunswick, Canada.
